Ethereum ebnet Weg für neuen Bullenmarkt

Der Gesamtwert des Kryptomarktes ist nun wieder auf dem Vorkrisenniveau angelangt, der bei schätzungsweise über zwei Billionen US-Dollar liegt. Bitcoin und Ethereum repräsentieren 60,3 Prozent dieses Gesamtmarktwertes, wobei Bitcoin 42,2 und Ethereum 18,1 Prozent ausmachen.
 
Obwohl Bitcoin und Ethereum aktuell immer noch zu Kursen gehandelt werden, die 28,7 beziehungsweise 26,2 Prozent unter ihrem Höchststand liegen, bestehen keine Zweifel, dass wir uns zum zweiten Mal zu einem Bullenmarkt hinbewegen. Das wird schon mit einem Blick auf das aktuelle NUPL (Net Unrealized Profit and Loss)-Verhältnis deutlich. Die Kennzahl misst die Differenz zwischen unrealisiertem Gewinn und unrealisiertem Verlust eines jeden Bitcoin-Anlegers basierend auf dessen anfänglichen Kapitalkosten im Verhältnis zum heutigen Wert, und zeigt: Mehr als 50 Prozent der aktuellen Investoren befinden sich im Gewinnbereich. Vor wenigen Wochen lag diese Zahl noch bei unter 40 Prozent.

Die wichtigsten Triebkräfte hinter dem neuen Bullenmarkt

  • Der durch die Verwendung von Ethereum in NFT-Spielen wie Axie Infinity (ein Pokemon-ähnliches Computerspiel) oder für den Kauf von Online-Avataren wie Pudgy Penguins ausgelöste Kaufdruck auf Ethereum. So ist es keine Überraschung, dass OpenSea, der wichtigste Marktplatz für NFTs, mehr Transaktionsgebühren erzeugt als Uniswap, die führende dezentrale Kryptowährungsbörse. OpenSea verarbeitete Transaktionsgebühren im Wert von 1,83 Millionen Dollar, wohingegen Uniswap in seiner zweiten Version (v2) 1,32 Millionen Dollar an Gebühren verarbeitete.
  • Das anhaltende Interesse und die Rezeption von Kryptowährungen über Bitcoin hinaus von institutioneller Seite – kommt in erster Linie von Ethereum. Zum ersten Mal in seiner Geschichte überstieg das Handelsvolumen von Ethereum auf Coinbase jenes von Bitcoin, wie die Kryptobörse in ihrem Bericht für das zweite Quartal bekanntgab. Ethereum machte 26 Prozent, Bitcoin 24 Prozent des gesamten Handelsvolumens aus.
  • Die aufkommenden Krypto-Ökosysteme jenseits von Bitcoin und Ethereum gewinnen durch ihre sich verbessernde Netzwerkintegration von dezentralen Anwendungen verstärkte Zugkraft und Anerkennung im Retailmarkt. Solana (SOL) ist der Archetyp eines solchen Ökosystems. SOL ist das erste Kryptoasset, das mit einer geschätzten Marktkapitalisierung von 20 Milliarden Dollar neue Allzeithochs als Teil unserer Produktpalette erreicht hat. Seit dem Launch unseres SOL-ETP Ende Juni dieses Jahres ist Solana um 118 Prozent gestiegen – ein Aufwärtstrend, der auf die solide Integration dezentraler Anwendungen in die Solana-Blockchain, wie z. B. die Einführung eines NFT-Projekts namens Degenerate Ape Academy, das vor kurzem viral ging, zurückzuführen ist. Gegenwärtig besteht das Solana-Ökosystem aus mehr als 300 Projekten.
